Davis, Arneil Law Firm, LLP, a premier North Central Washington law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented, Rule 9 Licensed summer intern. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for law students entering their third year of law school to gain practical experience in various areas of law including real estate, construction, family, probate and estate planning, personal injury, and other civil practice areas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and gain exposure to real-world legal issues.

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

·         Assist attorneys in in drafting, analyzing, and interpreting contracts and legal documents,

·         Conduct legal research on a wide range of legal topics,

·         Assist attorneys with discovery processes,

·         Assist attorneys with trial preparation and trial, and

·         Collaborate with attorneys and other staff members to contribute to ongoing legal projects.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

·         Excellent research, writing and critical thinking skills,

·         Detail oriented,

·         Quick learner and ability to improvise when needed, and

·         Strong communication skills.

Duration and Compensation:

·         This is a full-time internship position for the duration of the summer with flexible start and end dates.

·         Compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 per hour to $24.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
